Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Nerve Arena is operated by Nikola Zorbić, a sole proprietor based in Petrovaradin, Serbia ("we", "us" or "our"), who is responsible for your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the Nerve Arena apps for iOS and Android, the web version of the app and this website (together, the "Service").
Information We Collect
Account data: To use the Service you sign in with Google or Apple. We receive your name, email address and provider user ID from the chosen provider. We use this to create your account, which stores your progress, match history, stats and journal entries. Where available on the web, you can try a practice fight before signing in; we create a temporary anonymous session for it, which is deleted after 30 days unless you sign in, in which case it becomes part of your account.
Your content: What you write or say in practice fights, your journal entries and the scenarios you create are stored with your account and processed by our AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate replies, scores and feedback.
Microphone access: Voice conversations in the iOS and Android apps need access to your device's microphone. Audio is used solely to power the conversation and its transcription through Google Gemini. We do not store raw audio files on our servers after processing.
Usage data: The iOS and Android apps collect information about how you use them via Firebase Analytics (screens visited, features used, session duration), which we look at in aggregate. The web version uses Google Analytics (via Firebase) only if you allow it in the consent banner; nothing is collected if you decline. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
Security checks: The web version uses Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise through Firebase App Check to confirm that requests come from our genuine app and to prevent abuse. It collects technical information about your browser and device, which Google processes under its own terms.
Purchase data: Purchases in the apps are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases on the web are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy; we never receive your full card details. RevenueCat keeps track of your subscription status across the apps and the web. We store a record of your purchases solely to provide what you bought.
Device data: The apps send crash reports via Firebase Crashlytics to improve stability. Reports include device model, OS version and app version. No personally identifiable information is included.
Browser storage: The web version keeps your settings (such as theme and your analytics choice) in your browser's local storage. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics also sets cookies. This website, nervearena.com, uses no analytics or advertising cookies; it loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service
- To run practice fights, voice conversations and AI feedback
- To process purchases and manage your subscription
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse
- To diagnose and fix bugs via crash reports
- To send optional training reminders (local notifications in the apps only)
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Firebase / Google: authentication, database, hosting, analytics, security checks (reCAPTCHA Enterprise) and AI processing (Gemini API)
- RevenueCat: subscription and purchase management
- Paddle.com: checkout and payment processing for web purchases, as Merchant of Record
- Apple / Google: when you sign in with their services or buy through their app stores
- Google AdMob: rewarded video ad delivery in the apps (free tier only, with consent)
Advertising
Free-tier users of the iOS and Android apps may choose to watch rewarded video ads to earn Resolve. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When you consent, AdMob may collect:
- A mobile advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android)
- Coarse location (for legal and frequency-capping purposes in some regions)
- Ad interaction events (views, clicks)
Ads are never shown to paid subscribers and never shown on the web. Ads are never forced: you see them only when you choose to tap "Watch video" inside the Resolve refill screen. On iOS, the system App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown before any tracking occurs. In GDPR regions, Google's consent form is shown.
For details, see Google's ad partner policies at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and the AdMob privacy disclosure at support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. In the apps, open the Profile tab, tap Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm. On the web, open Settings, choose Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm. Deletion removes your account record and all linked data (match history, journal entries, stats and purchase records) from our active databases. If you cannot use either option, email hello@nervearena.com. Inactive accounts may be purged after 12 months of inactivity. Paddle, Apple and Google keep their own records of purchases made through them, as the law requires.
Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us at hello@nervearena.com to exercise these rights.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
